The Office of Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) of the U.S. Department of Labor has announced that it will be having a series of town halls to provide compliance assistance and to receive feedback from government contractors about their experiences in dealing with compliance requirements.
In 2017, government contractors must comply with two new requirements for their employees: an increased minimum wage rate and paid sick leave.

The U.S. Secretary of Labor has announced that the new minimum wage applicable to most employees of Federal government contractors is $10.15. The new minimum wage rate becomes effective on January 1, 2016.
